Weekly Recap 11/2-11/8

So what was supposed to happen this week was two medium-distance runs, a long walk, and a long run. Instead, I was super moody and did one of the prescribed workouts like I was supposed to. Instead, I cycled twice and did just enough running to maintain my running streak.

BUT, I did complete all my lifting workouts like I was supposed to. Part of that is I do them first and also because I find them more fun than running. I can see measurable progress every time I lift, which is mainly because I’m such a newb that I’m going to progress pretty rapidly until I hit my first plateau.

I’m also just ready to get this dang Dopey Challenge over already. I’m also studying for the GMAT and I’m tired of that, too. Both of those combined just leave me generally dissatisfied with things and my motivation is so fleeting that when it’s there I really have to grab onto it.
