Day 11 of 30 Days of Thanks

I recently got into lifting because I wanted to be more well-rounded and stronger. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. It’s just so much fun and relaxing in its simplicity. You pick it up, you put it down.

I’ve already started seeing myself get stronger and now I have a new appreciation for the other lifters in the gym. I’m not intimidated by the free weights anymore, and I feel as at home in the squat racks as I do running (though I still get jokes about being so much of a cardio bunny).
